A Berkshire County native, Ellie graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College and received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Ellie began her legal career as a litigator in a large New Hampshire law firm where she appeared in all New Hampshire courts handling matters ranging from insurance coverage disputes to complex commercial litigation cases.
A member of the firm’s business and banking group, Ellie now concentrates her practice in general business counseling, transactions, and commercial financing. She has represented both businesses and financial institutions in commercial financings, and has counseled small businesses in matters from entity formation through employment and contract issues.
Ellie is passionate about education and served as a Trustee of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She is also a past Clerk of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and co-chair of the Berkshire Leadership Program. Ellie is very active with Pine Cobble School in Williamstown, where she lives with her three children.
